Eurtrue is a third party inspection of oil & gas agency.
Eurtrue Overseas Pte Ltd had its origins as an EBASCO entity, as better explained hereinafter.
Back in the early 1980s, the American Corporation EBASCO (Electrical Bonds and Shares Company) had started to establish several overseas operation centers around the world in order to develop its Quality Programs services for the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. The Singapore office being one such setup.
However, Raytheon Engineers & Constructors acquired EBASCO in the year 1995. As a consequence of such an acquisition, all existing EBASCO operations underwent a rebranding exercise to fall under the umbrella of the Raytheon Group. Thereafter, all EBASCO Quality Programs became known as “Raytheon Quality Programs”.
In the Year 2000, Raytheon Engineers & Constructors was in turn acquired by the American Corporation “Washington Group International”. Therefore, all Raytheon operations effectively encountered a name change to Washington Group, including all of its overseas Quality Program Operations. Of interest here would be its Italian and Singapore branches.
By the end of Year 2001, Washington Group International undertook a worldwide restructuring exercise, focusing to consolidate its strategic interests and also to concentrate on its core businesses on the home front in the USA. As a result of this streamlining, all the activities, clients, resources and assets were transferred over to two newly established entities, which subsequently became Eurtrue S.r.l. (Italy) and Eurtrue Overseas Pte Ltd (Singapore).
Third party inspection refers to independent inspection activities that are conducted by a Third Party Inspection Agency, typically engaged by either the buyer or seller.
